How will I know if I’ve received gifts?

When a gift contribution has finished processing, you’ll get an email letting you know someone contributed to your account. All processed gift contributions will also appear in your activity feed. However, even though the contribution is visible immediately, it won’t be available for withdrawal until a 10‑business‑day hold is completed.

Business days are Monday through Friday only, excluding weekends and holidays. For example, if a contribution is submitted online before 4pm ET on Monday, March 2, the 10‑business‑day count begins on the next business day, Tuesday, March 3, and the funds become available on Monday, March 16, once all 10 business days have passed.
